Spammers Get A Bigger Vision

In the middle of a block of Nigerian email scams and spam for cheap viagra, I got this:

Brazilian Sugar in Containers
C&F Price Worldwide
Icumsa 45 - US $ 435.00 per ton
Icumsa 100 US $ 425.00 per ton
Icumsa 150 US $ 420.00 per Ton
Minimum order quantity: 10 container of 20" with 27 tons per container and 270 tons in total

I must say that offering me $115,000 of sugar is not the usual come-on

"Well now if I were the president of this land
You know I'd declare total war on the spammer man.
I'd cut him if he stands, and I'd shoot him if he run,
And I'd kill him with my bible, and my razor and my gun...."

Steppenwolf - The Pusher - replacing pusher with spammer

Someone should run with this as their platform, they might win :-)

I'm impressed that somebody actually remembers more about Steppenwolf than "Magic.." and "Born..". You must be over 50. :)

Best one I ever got: Robots-Wanted.

Hey, how does that price compare to the cost for domestic sugar? Where would you find that info? I am interested to know how much more expensive it is for us because of tariffs.

I once received spam offering a great deal on scrap steel, to be precise, 3,000 miles of used rail from the Nigerian railroad. (Perhaps they mixed me, an electrical engineer, up with some other sort of "engineer"?) I couldn't see the hook in that offer, but considering the origin... Perhaps if you respond, they ask for shipping costs in advance, for however many ships it takes to haul away several million tons.

3K of used rails? I've heard of Nigerians stealing power cables for the copper, but 3K of rail must be the entire Nigerian railroad. Things must really be bad if someone stole the tracks and nobody noticed. ;)

In this country, first you get the sugar, then you get the money, then you get the power... Then you get the wooomeeen
